This is most likely involves the Taliban. There has been so much trouble with them lately so one could only imagine that they would kidnap a high ranking official. The Taliban are making a move towards the Pakistani capital so now they have something to hold over the government.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Brenden when he says it involves the Taliban, or maybe even the Al Queda. There has been nothing but chaos in this area of the world for thousands of years, and now these groups have a sigificant leader in their hands to do some damage to the rest of Pakistan. It is still unsure, but it makes the most sense that either of these groups is involved.
ReplyDeleteI believe that this is another incident that should not be taken lightly. The taliban has kidnapped a high ranking official no doubt to try and gain information or leverage agaisnt the Pakistani government. Unless serious measures are taken Pakistan may fall to the Taliban.
